Social Golf Club

The Captain's Day saw a good number arrive to take up the various challenges offered on each hole.  Four players overcame most obstacles to score 35 nett on the day.  With the Captain excluding himself from the four, the other three claimed the prizes.  Bill Long won on a countback from Len Stallard (with some objections) and Peter MacAuley third placed.

Bill doubled up winning the B Grade longest drive, while Len also claimed a second prize with his nearest the pin approach on number One.  Terry Smallman again won the A Grade longest drive.  Scott White played the least number of putts.

This Sunday we return to a 7:30am tee-off time for the Monthly Mug stroke and putt competition off the front nine.

Members are reminded to ensure their nominations for the September 08 Carnival are in by this weekend plus any offers of help on the day will be greatly appreciated.
