Named after the bamboos which line the left hand side of the fairway down to the corner, this is another good hole.

The fairway slopes downhill to the corner of the dog leg, then is flat through to the slightly-elevated green.

From the men’s tee, hard against the left hand side of the fairway,  the fairway appears to be quite narrow, and directs you to the trees on the right hand corner.   The best shot, over the top of the ladies tee, brings the bamboos (and out of bounds) into play.   Block your tee shot left and you could create an exciting moment or two for  the motorists coming up Goodwood Road!

For the adventurous, you can try hitting over the trees on the right hand side, then playing a wedge over the trees on to the green.  Bon chance!

The more conventional second shot brings into play the out of bounds  which runs the full length of the fairway from tee to green, and the bunker on the left hand side of the green

The green is flat, fast & true, with a slight downhill slope from the back to the front of the green.
