On behalf of the winners, the Club wishes to thank Isis Central Sugar Mill and the many Mill Traders who offered such an array of excellent prizes.  Not forgetting our gratitude for the continuous sausage sizzle and the after game platters.  A wonderful way to end a very enjoyable game of golf.

May we enjoy the April Monthly Medal competition just as much this coming Saturday.

Women

This Thursday competition was washed out so we await next Thursday and play a single stableford competition at the usual hit off time.  On Saturday, the women members joined in the 3 person Ambrose sponsored by the Isis Mill and Traders.  The results are above. This coming Saturday we play our April Monthly Goblet.  See you there for the 12:30pm hit off.

Vets

The postponed stroke vs par competition proved just as challenging as usual, particularly with the heavier fairways.  However, Nigel Radin rose to the challenge to be the overall winner on plus 4.  The A Division winner was Kieth Rule on plus 3, on a countback from playing partner, Larry Pershouse.  Paul McCarragher won the best nine holes on plus 1.

In B Division Ross Nicol won with plus 1 from Bob Cochrane who equalled par, with Ray Burrows collecting the best nine hole level with par, on a spin.

Kieth Rule won nearest the pin with his approach on 4 & 13, while Joan Kelly was delighted to be nearest the pin for the women.

Chook Run winners were led by Nigel with 31 nett, from Larry Pershouse, Bob Werne (32), Craig Reynolds and Phil Luckett (33) on a spin.

Remember our own Vets Carnival definately takes place next Tuesday, April 08, with morning and afternoon fields. Nominate now!
