Women
On Thursday Joy Cartner and Sandy Kirk with 48 points won the 4BBB competition from Joan Wright and Ilma Kidd on 44. Sandy put her second shot in the hole to take the approach on 1 & 10. Next week is the Thursday Monthly Medal for July.
On Saturday Cynthia Draper won the Monthly Medal with 67 nett, on a countback from Helen Ricciardi. Helen also claimed the approach on 6 & 15. Rundowns went to Lisa Cooney with 70, and Fiona Dowling on 72.
Next week is the President vs Captain’s Matchplay, which is an opportunity for any outstanding matchplay games to be completed.
Men
The Monthly Medal for July attracted strong fields in both Men’s Divisions. In A Division club champion Clinton Dowling won with 69 nett from Ross Nicol on 71, who was second on a countback from John Cole. Another rundown went to Dean Page on 73.
In B Division, some incredible scoring took place, with Ivan Philpott winning on 63 nett, on a countback from Gary Gretton. Peter Hutton led the rundowns with 65 from Bob Champney on 71, Roger Draper on 72, Bill Herring and Garry Willoughby on 73.

The tasty after game treats prepared by June were very much enjoyed.
Next week is the annual President vs Captain’s Matchplay. This is an opportunity for members to complete their first round matches for Seb & Allan’s trophy.
Vets
In the 4BBB stroke competition, some excellent scores were recorded. Nigel Radin and Gary Gretton with 59 nett won on a countback from Kieth Rule & Larry Pershouse, who were second on a countback from Ian & Jennifer McKay. Niel Rieck and Ted Buckland recorded 60 nett, with the final rundown going to Harry Zawacki & Lisa Cooney on 61.

Competitions begin again on Sunday 09 July at 9:30am, the last day of school holidays. New members are always welcome.
The free 2 day school golf clinic which took place on June 28 & 29 was very well attended, with almost thirty players enjoying the coaching clinic conducted by Mick Murlane. Photos are available on the Club's Facebook page.
