In the President versus Captain's Matchplay Cynthia Draper and Robyn Robinson claimed victory in their matches, while Helen Ricciardi took the approach on 4 & 13.

This Saturday we play a Captain's choice competition of a single stableford, instead of the postponed Bill & Jan Kingston sponsored day to be held the following Saturday.

Remember the mixed foursomes championships this Sunday, with hit off at 11:00am.  Hopefully every female player has a partner and nominated.  Please bring a plate.

Men

The Captain suspended play when a heavy downpour hit the course.  Luckily all players had completed 9 holes so a result could be determined.

The President versus Captain's matchply competition proved to be fairly close with many players finishing even in their games.  However, the Presidents team claimed victory for 2015, winning seven games to four, with the President claiming a victory as well.  That may not have been the case if the match had gone to 18 holes.

Len Stallard won the pinshot on 4 & 13, while Helen Ricciardi won the women's approach on the same hole.

Members appreciated the after game snack provided by the President and Captain. Thank you to the preparers and cleaners.

Next week we play a Captain's choice instead of the programmed sponsored day by Bill & Jan Kingsston, which will be played the following week.

Remember Mixed Foursomes Championships this Sunday, with hit off at 11:00am.  Please bring a plate.
