Golf Notes 17 January 2017

In the final BBB single stableford competition, scoring was again very competitive for those playing well. Mark McAulay played his best game for months to record 41 points.

In the final BBB single stableford competition, scoring was again very competitive for those playing well.  Mark McAulay played his best game for months to record 41 points to win from Rae McCliskie on 40 points, with Laurie Dakin next on 37.

Rundowns went to Larry Pershouse, Craig Reynolds, Vicki McAulay and Phil Pearch all on 34 points.  Gary Willoughby again earned a ball for his NAGA score.

Ray Walker won the pinshot on 4 & 13, and also on number 6.  Phil Pearce won the approach on 1 & 10.

This Saturday 21 January, is the official commencement of the 2017 season.  The first event of the year is a 2 person ambrose sponsored by Peter & Narelle Russo.  Peter is also going to hit the first drive for the new season.

If you have a friend wishing to become a member, the opportunity exists for them to win a free membership if they come along as part of an Ambrose team on Saturday.
