Fiona Dowling with 35 points won the Saturday competition, from Jennifer McKay on 32. Rundowns went to Cynthia Draper, Joan Wright and Val Plath. Fiona won the approach on 6 & 15.

On Thursday Lisa Cooney won the single stroke competition with 70 nett on a countback from Kerry Schnack.  Cecily Fay was third on 73.  Kerry also won the approach on 6 & 15.

Next Thursday members play a single stableford competition.

Men

On Saturday members played in the IGA Sponsored stableford competition.

Bill Herring won the A Division with 42 points from Craig Reynolds on 37.  Rundowns went to Phil Luckett and Chris Crouch.  Jeff Freeman won the B Division with 43 points from Bryden Blair on 37.  Rundowns went to Ian McKay, Royce Blair and Ivan Philpott.

Michael Stanton & Phil Pearce will contest the final of the Seb & Allan's Matchplay Championship after defeating Larry Pershouse & Ken Albion respectively.

The VIP Stroke competition sponsored by Harry & Eleanor Zawacki was run in conjunction with the third round of the Jan Mungomery Salver.

Kev Hackney with 66 nett was a convincing winner in A Division, from Ray Walker on 70.  Nigel Radin and Phil Luckett received rundowns, both on 71 nett. 
Ken Backhaus with 69 nett won B Division, from Ray Graves, who was second on a countback from Harry Zawacki.  Brian Smith was next on 70, on another countback from Darryl Johnstone, next on a countback from Barry Steinke.

Lisa Cooney won the Ladies' Division with 70 nett, from Merryn Henke on 71.  Vicki Wyeth was next on 74, followed by Chris Simpson on 76.

This Tuesday we host the WBVGA 4BBB Medley competition, with hit off at 12:15pm.

Juniors

A small number arrived for the chip and putt competition, with James Cocking winning a prize for his efforts.  Next Sunday it is Monthly Medal time again.  See you there for the 9am start.

A reminder that Golf Queensland is offering a two day golfing camp in the first week of the September School Holidays.  More to come on that event.
