Women
On Thursday Marg Dennett with 28 points won the single stableford competition on a countback from Coralie Volgyesi, second on a countback from Vicki McAulay. A rundown went to Vicki Wyeth. Margaret won the approach shot with .31m.
On Saturday Val Plath won with 36 stableford points from Helen Ricciardi on 34, with a rundown to Joan Wright. Cecily Fay won the ladies approach.
Next Saturday members play the Women's Foursomes Championships, with hit off at 11:00am.

Men
The post-championship single stableford enabled players to enjoy a day off from stroke competitions. Brendan Rockett recorded 38 points to finish one point clear of runner-up Ben Van Der Valk, second on a countback from visitor Kevin Christensen, with Nigel Radin next on 35 points. Four other players recorded 35 points and received rundowns: Laszlo Volgyesi, Peter Hutton, Norm Plath and Roger Draper.
Peter Hutton (in the hole) won the B Division approach on 1&10; Garry Carlon (6.2m) the A Division pinshot on 4&13; Bill Kingston (2.62m) the B Division pinshot.
Next week we play the Men’s Foursomes Championship, with hit-off at 11:00 a.m. and registration no later than 10 a.m. to enable a draw to be made.

The first round of the Seb and Allan’s Matchplay should be completed on or before the President versus Captain’s Match Play event on Saturday, July 9.
Vets
The V.I.P. single stroke competition in conjunction with the competition for the Jan Mungomery Salver attracted a strong field of Vet members and visitors.
Kieth Rule with nett 68 won A Division from Nigel Radin on 70, with visitor Kev Christensen second and Ray Walker third. Ray Burrowes with 68 nett won B Division from Larry Pershouse on 69, second on a countback from Rusty Usmar, with Laszlo Volgyesi third on 71.
Val Plath as sponsor couldn’t win the Ladies’ Division with nett 70 so Diane Rowley won the trophy with nett 75 from Val, with Monica Madsen and Coralie Volgyesi sharing third and fourth.
Clinton Dowling won the Men’s approach on 1&10; Ted Buckland the Combined approach on 4&13; and Di Rowley the Ladies’ approach on 6&15.
Val led the Chook Run winners with nett 27, from Jack Smith on 28, followed by Rusty Usmar (29), Coralie Volgyesi (31) and Ray Walker (33) on spin.
