The Thursday competition was washed out, but next week the ladies will play a single stableford competition. The following Thursday will be Monthly Medal, with a visit from Mick Murnane golf professional, to discuss a programme for promoting women's golf at our club.

Men & Women
In a week when the long-awaited rain arrived, no play was possible during the week, so members were keen to play on Saturday, with intermittent showers not preventing players from completing their rounds.
The fourball aggregate draw took place after all players had handed in their cards, with some pleasing and some not so pleasing results.
Norm Plath & Damien Dowling recorded 71 points to be clear winners ahead of Larry Pershouse and Coralie Volgyesi on 66, with Blake Dowling & Dean Page third on 63.
Rundowns went to Ben Van Der Valk & Bill Cowan on 62, Steve Cole & Phil Luckett on 62, Ken Albion & Laszlo Volgyesi on 61 & Lisa Cooney & Bob Werne on 60.
Damien Dowling won the A Division pinshot on 1 & 10, Larry Pershouse the B Division approach on the same hole. Clinton Dowling won the A Division pinshot on 4 & 13, while Fiona Dowling picked up the Ladies' approach on 6 & 15.
Next week, weather permitting on April 1, members play for the Monthly Medals. See you there together with a plate for after game snack.
Vets
Unfortunately the VIP Monthly Single Stroke competition sponsored by the 'reliables' Kev Denham, Ray Walker & Ted Buckland was washed out and that day will now be held in April. Probably April 4. See you there for the 12 noon hit off.
