Vets

If they had been race horses a few players would have to be tested after today’s results in the Melbourne Cup single stableford competition.

The outstanding performance was by Ray Walker who returned a score of 42 points to win A Division from Niel Rieck and Vicki McAulay both on 37, Niel second on countback.

Lisa Cooney recorded 37 points to win B Division on a countback from Barry Steinke, with Rae McCliskie third on 36 points.
The ladies’ approach on 6&15 was won by Vicki McAulay (0.69m); the men’s approach on 1&10 by Nigel Radin (0.15m); the combined approach on 4&13 by Rae McCliskie (0.75m).

Chook Run scores were much more realistic this week: Vicki McAulay won with 30 nett from Rae McCliskie on 31, with Helen Ricciardi and Niel Rieck collecting the last two birds with 32 nett.

Next week we play the ever popular single stableford competition.
